Born and raised in Minneapolis, Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota. For fourteen years he worked at Ceridian Corporation (formerly Control Data) in Bloomington, Minnesota. He was a Manufacturing Manager, then Manager of Quality Technology in a Ceridian division that made computers for fighter aircraft and shipboard armaments under contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense. In 1994, God called Ken to work for the Gospel Association of India where he served as Executive Administrator for two years. He continues as treasurer of that organization as a volunteer. He was Quality Manager at Viking Electric Supply, a regional electrical wholesaler, for two years. He was hired as Calvary Church's first Facilities Manager when the church moved to larger facilities in August of 2002. Ken and his wife, Sherry, live in Edina with their daughter, Emma. Their son, Evan, attends Minnesota State University Mankato.
